Measuring 32m in width, 30m in length and 10m in height, the Air Dome utilises an opaque membrane to reduce light spillage and maintain privacy. Three strategically placed skylights allow for natural light to filter through, creating a bright and welcoming space that enhances the interior atmosphere. A gas heating system maintains an optimal indoor climate throughout the year.

As security was of particular importance in this project, we tailored every aspect of the dome’s structure and operation to meet the MOD standards. DIO (Defence Infrastructure Organisation) approved features include enhanced structural reinforcements and operational protocols to safeguard against potential threats.

The facility not only enhances the operational capabilities of the MOD but also stands as a testament to Rocklyn's expertise in delivering tailored solutions for complex projects within the Defence sector.
